Regular and Systematic Property Inspections

OrewaEvery 10 weeks (or as required), we complete a written property inspection for you. This allows us to report to you on:
  • How the tenants have been looking after your property.
  • Whether there are small repairs that need attending to
  • Any maintenance issues that require your attention
We also carry out property inspections when a tenant enters and vacates a property. This ensures that they have completed their contractual obligations under the Tenancies Act.

These inspections that we carry out allows you as the owner to keep on top of how your property is being looked after. Whether you are an absentee owner living overseas or residing in another part of the country, our aim is to allow you to continue enjoying the things that matter in your life while we take care of your investment.

If You Are Absent

As from 1st October 2010, if a landlord is away from New Zealand for longer than 21 consecutive days, they must appoint an agent. If not, the landlord could be fined up to $1,000.

If you are an overseas landlord or from out of town, we can take care of everything for you, this includes your property, the banking of rent, insurance payment, maintenance, council rates, water rates and your tenant.
